Who are we?
HelloWeb provides computer and Internet classes for seniors using a proven unique instructional method created especially for seniors. We have launched these classes and programs in hopes to allow seniors to enjoy the Internet and computer, in whatever way they’d like. After all, the Internet has changed how the world works. We can communicate with people across the globe, play online games with our grandson who lives five states away and even organize all of our bills and set up auto pay programs. There is no doubt about it, the Internet has changed lives yet quite often seniors don’t have the option to learn and understand these pleasures. Well, no more.
Now you will have the ability to see your daughter face to face thanks to video chat, or watch your grandson take his first two steps. You will no longer miss out on what the Internet has to offer.
At HelloWeb each and every one of our customers will be able to design a training program that will suit their individual needs. We want you to learn at your own pace, decide what you want to learn and how you want to learn. To help seniors, to guide them into the exciting world of the computer and Internet is a privilege.

The HelloWeb Method:
Key Challenges
When it comes to introducing first-time senior users to the computer and Internet there are three main challenges that we have come across:
- Overcome fear of the computer which is common among seniors (also known as computer anxiety). After all, technology nowadays is entirely different than it was even ten years ago. It’s all new and new can be scary.
- Develop self confidence.
- Minimize dependency on others regarding working with the computer.
Guidelines
The HelloWeb Method is based on three main guidelines:
- The learning is carried out in small groups (up to 7 students per class). Every student deserves personal attention, and these small groups make this possible. This personal attention will ensure that each student understands what they are being taught so that they can implement it and use it to their advantage in their everyday life.
- Simple, short and accurate explanations.
- Emphasis on guided exercise. The learning process and knowledge assimilation will not be completed without sufficient practice.
Learning Stages
The learning process is composed in 2 stages:
Stage 1: Creating a strong and solid knowledge base.
Stage 2: Broadening this knowledge to wider aspects and uses of the computer and internet.
